International Construction April 2017 podcast (audio)

03 April 2017

In the April 2017 podcast from International Construction, the headlines were made by Caterpillar, whose offices were raided by federal agents, who seized documents relating to an ongoing investigation of the firms tax strategies. Another firm under investigation is cement maker Lafarge Holcim, which is accused of paying protection money to militant groups in Syria. The podcast also describes a mega-project in Africa, with Nigeria announcing it will soon begin construction of the continent’s longest bridge, over the Lagos lagoon. The podcast is presented by International Construction’s editor Mike Hayes and deputy editor Thomas Allen.
