Articulated hauler manufacturer Rokbak - formerly known as Terex - has announced the UK debut of its new RA30 and RA40 models.

The RA30 and RA40 articulated haulers were recently showcased at Molson Group’s open days in England, UK.

While the first Rokbak RA30 and RA40 units are already being delivered to international markets, this marked the first time they had been revealed for the UK.

Molson Group, Rokbak’s UK dealer, displayed both the RA30 and RA40 at its Avonmouth depot near Bristol, allowing customers to walk around the models and giving live demonstrations of the RA30 hauler at a local quarry.

The RA40, which has a maximum payload capacit of 38 tonnes, is equipped with a Stage V 6-cylinder Scania DC13 engine that provides 331kW of power.

Simliarly, the smaller 28-tonne capacity RA30 is fitted with Scania’s 5-cylinder DC9 engine.

Kenny Price, regional sales manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia at Rokbak, said, “Since the launch of the new brand took place virtually, for many UK customers, it was their first opportunity to catch a glimpse of the rock-solid haulers in person – and they were not disappointed.

“The striking new name and colour are hard to miss, while the hefty build embodies Rokbak’s commitment to never letting a customer down.”

Articulated hauler specialist Terex Trucks rebraned itself as Rokbak in September this year.

The Motherwell, Scotland-based manufacturer, part of the Volvo Group since 2014, unveiled the new brand at a digital launch event.
