Question of the month August 2009

In August, CE asked whether an impact was being felt in the construction industry from the various European stimulus packages announced at the end of 2008 and earlier this year.

The majority of respondents - 62% - said they had not seen any impact, and a further 3% said the stimulus packages were having a negative impact on their businesses. Some 34% of respondents said there was a positive impact, but only 5% described it as very positive.
