Plantworx and CEA launch new forum

26 January 2016

The CPF (Construction Productivity Forum) is a new initiative created by the Plantworx Construction Machinery Exhibition and the CEA (Construction Equipment Association).

Focussing on productivity and innovation in the construction sector, the CPF is supported by Build UK, which is an association that brings together 27 of the industry’s largest contractors and 40 trade associations, representing over 11500 specialist contractors.

CPF said its initiatives would include a one-day conference on 8 June, 2016, in London, UK, for senior industry executives which will focus on how innovations are changing the way construction does business in the boardroom – raising quality and profits.

Aimed at representatives from across the construction supply chain, the CPF said the conference would focus on changing client requirements, innovative technologies, innovation adoption, skills and productivity, and more.

It said major project case studies would be examined, as well as how leading contractors are driving change site and round-table debates on key issues.

CPF added that it was also introducing Construction Innovation Breakfast Club quarterly meetings for senior executives, company directors in the construction industry – including clients, contactors, suppliers and manufacturers.

It said the first Club meeting was being held on 18 March, 2016, in London, UK.
