Canada-based PCL Construction, a global family of independent contracting companies, said it will partner with US-based Document Crunch, a construction industry contract intelligence platform.

PCL said the agreement will enable it to train its project teams to ‘de-risk’ schemes through contract compliance using Document Crunch’s artificial intelligence (AI) and machine-learning technology.

Document Crunch operates construction contract risk review and mitigation using AI.

The company says that this helps project managers “simplify contracts, standardize contract review by identifying critical risks, and transfer contract knowledge from the back office to the field, allowing for better contract compliance by project teams.”
