Komatsu America acquires four new locations

10 October 2016

Manufacturer Komatsu America Corp has announced the purchase of four branches of US-based Road Machinery LCC, which will become Komatsu-owned facilities under the Komatsu Southwest banner.

Komatsu America said the four locations – El Paso, Carlsbad, Albuquerque and Farmington – would support Komatsu’s long-term strategic plans to grow and strengthen the distribution channel.

The price of the deal has not been disclosed by Komatsu.

Rod Schrader, CEO, Komatsu America, said, “We will more than double the investment in equipment, tooling and training at these locations.

“We see this as an opportunity to improve the linkage of our customers to our factory experts with added customer support and responsiveness.”
