German associations act on Covid safety measures

Three of Germany’s largest construction associations have agreed to bring in additional measures to protect industry workers during the “worsening” pandemic.

The Central Association of German Construction Industry, the Main Association of the German Construction Industry and the Industrial Union Bauen-Agrar-Environment (IG BAU) have said they will all work to facilitate both regular coronavirus testing and the role-out of around one million FFP2 facemasks to construction site workers across the country.
