October 7 event - experts to discuss materials and processes set to reduce carbon emissions

Construction Europe’s inaugural sustainable construction webinar, set for 3pm (UK time) on October 7, 2021, will focus on new materials and processes central to achieving the goal of net-zero-carbon projects.

The Price of Green Construction will see industry experts discuss a range of innovative methods and new thinking that could drive the industry towards a more sustainable post-Covid transformation.

Carbon-capture materials, the circular economy and the development of cleaner power technologies will be among the topics dealt with by industry experts including Ian Riley, CEO of the World Cement Association.

Riley recently told Construction Europe, “…the growing interest of contractors in achieving zero carbon is a really welcome trend and one that could accelerate decarbonisation of the cement and concrete sector”.
