Terex schaeff's electric powered, 4,8 tonne TC48E is a robust mini excavator for use in underground construction applications.

Power for the low-noise, 22 kW TC48E, which is based on the TC48, is supplied via a cable drum on the upper structure, equipped with a swivel limiter to prevent wraparound thanks to the 30 m long feed cable. The FOPS cab is water and dust sealed, and features an emergency shut-off, visual and acoustic warning devices as well as a fire extinguisher.

Attachments include various buckets and hydraulic transverse cutting units. For crane loading rigging points are installed on the chassis and boom.
