Campus Ullevål will become a research centre for climate, energy, environment, and engineering-related geosciences, and will be one of the first buildings to be completed in Oslo’s new innovation district — Science City.

The contract is worth NOK 1.0 billion (€87 million), which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the second quarter of 2023.

When the project is completed, the current parking space area will become a 36,000 square metre research centre with a green square, meeting places for the public and activities for children. The project will be environmentally certified in accordance with BREEAM NOR Excellent.

Construction is estimated to start in April 2023 and completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
