Engcon demonstrates the benefits of tiltrotators

Tiltrotators and their benefits are the focus for Swedish attachments specialist Engcon at this year’s ConExpo event, currently taking place in Las Vegas in the United States.

Engcon is using three different excavators to demonstrate how tiltrotators help to improve both efficiency and safety on construction sites.

Martin Engström, product manager at Engcon, said: “We know how important it is to see our products in action because many people can hardly believe that the tiltrotator is really as efficient as it actually is. That’s why we put a lot of focus on running demonstrations at our ConExpo booth.

“With our tiltrotator, efficiency and safety increase. A tiltrotator together with our attachments replaces other machines and contributes to the job being done more efficiently.

“With our solutions, the driver can safely remain in the cab and change attachments and buckets. In this way, the tiltrotator is an excellent investment for those who want to catch up on more assignments in a shorter time.”

The manufacturer, which has a large presence in Europe and has been established in North America since 2017, is looking to expand in the region and described its presence at ConExpo 2023 as “another step” towards that ambition.

As well as a sizeable range of excavator attachments, Engcon’s exhibit also includes a John Deere 85G excavator and a Cat 306 machines for visitors to test-drive with its tiltrotator.

Engcon’s EC-Oil quick coupler system for hydraulic attachments is also being demonstrated. The quick coupler system has no visible hoses or electrical cables and can connect pressurized work tools “at full system pressure”.

Martin Engström added: “With EC-Oil, you can safely change attachments in seconds, and you avoid hoses or electrical cables that move when connecting, which reduces the risk of crushing damage and wear and tear.”
