Andreas Lundback, director of Topcon's European key accounts group will speak at CEWEF about how positioning technology such as wireless bucket control can enhance site management efficiency. CEWEF takes place from 1 - 2 October in Brussels, Belgium.

Mr Lundback has a career focussed on machine control applications, first as a 3D machine control engineer and trainer in Sweden and Poland with Scanlaser, and since 2005 with Topcon, where he was responsible for site management platforms throughout Scandinavia for seven years. Earlier this year he took on a new role in the company's European key account group.

Topcon develops and manufactures precise satellite positioning products and software solutions for surveying and civil engineering, earthworks and road construction, construction site management, mobile asset mapping and management and geographic information systems (GIS) data capturing. Its portfolio includes high-precision GNSS receivers, robotic and imaging total stations, laser scanners, mobile mapping systems and machine control systems supported by handheld controllers, desktop / field and management software, telematics and accessories.

Registration open

CEWEF is free to attend and registrations are now open. Click here to register or visit www.cewef.com for more information. The website also includes information on the four previous editions of CEWEF.

CEWEF is organised by vehicle technology specialist Groeneveld Group and supported by KHL Group, the publisher of iC, as official media partner. It is also supported by the Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE), the European-level trade association for the construction equipment industry.

The conference will feature speakers from major construction equipment manufacturers, end users in the construction sector, major buyers such as rental companies and other key stakeholders.

As well as looking at innovation in the construction equipment sector, and the opportunity for greater commercial advantage for equipment owners through new technology and asset management techniques, the conference will consider other opportunities in the wider industry.
