The Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) is to launch a blueprint - know as the Gemini Papers - for a digital Britain, via a webinar next month.

A partnership between the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and the University of Cambridge, the CDBB said, “The Gemini Papers showcase the vital role that connected digital twins play in improving social, economic, and environmental outcomes, to create a better quality of life for us all.”

For the past several years the CDBB has worked with the government and industry partners to find ways of enabling people and nature to work together more harmoniously. Its Gemini Papers will summarise their findings and provide direction for “how the built environment and industry can work towards creating a sustainable and resilient tomorrow”.

Alexandra Bolton, CDBB Executive Director, said, “...I am excited to be able to share the learning we have gained over the past four years both within CDBB and with our many academic, government and industry partners who have made a digital built Britain a reality.

“The Gemini Papers capture the consensus viewpoint of the connected digital twin community and serve as a blueprint for future leaders and policy makers.”

The Gemini Papers launch webinar will take place at 12.00pm on the 10 March, 2022, with construction industry professionals able to sign up for free.

The online event, which will include industry speakers and a Q&A session, will be presented by Mark Enzer, Head of the National Digital Twin programme (NDTp) and Alexandra Bolton, Executive Director of CDBB.
