Allu launches its biggest material processing buckets
27 September 2016
Finnish-based manufacturer Allu has launched its new Allu G Series of material processing buckets – described as an evolution of its Allu M Series.
The first model launched from the new G Series is the 4-32F, the company’s biggest screener crusher, which Allu said was designed to be mounted on 300 tonne-class front shovel mining excavators.
The company said the reason for launching the new G Series was to introduce new methods of work, while also generating “remarkable cost savings”.
Allu said that, while excavators were traditionally used for loading large quantities of waste rock, the carrier now screens the ore while also loading waste rock. This makes it possible to leave the majority of waste rock at its original location in the mining cell, without having to transport it.
The company added that its new 4-32F brought extra fuel savings, with waste material now being left in the mining cell.
