Kobelco enters Italian market with four new dealers

Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe (KCME) has made its entry into the Italian market with the addition of four new Italian dealers.

The dealers – Sergio Bassan, BSM Brescia Macchine, SMIA and Arnus – will expand the company’s European network, while the demand for mini excavators and heavy machinery in Italy has increased over the past three years, said KCME. The company said the demand for its Kobelco excavators had intensified, and added that its range of machines covered both Italy’s mini excavator and heavy machinery needs.

Makoto Kato, managing director of KCME, said, “Italy is one of the biggest countries where we have a passionate Kobelco fan base. We are delighted to welcome these four new dealers as they will provide a gateway for us to enter one of the top five markets in Europe.

“Importantly, the appointment of Bassan, SMIA, BSM and Arnus demonstrates our commitment to servicing our new customers in Italy”.

The company recently expanded its network in Germany, with the appointment of Germany-based dealer Thomas Baumaschinen, which offers its excavator range for sale and rental.
