An Eiffage subsidiary, Eiffage Construction, has been awarded a contract worth approximately €140 million, to build a new headquarters in France for supermarket giant Lidl.

The 40,000m2 complex will also host a 3,000m2 retail space, as well as parking for 860 cars and areas of green space.

The Lidl campus, located within the LaVallée joint development zone in Paris’ Châtenay-Malabry commune, will will accommodate some 1,100 employees when completed in the second half of 2023.

The project comprises the construction of four blocks, with one seven-story and two five-storey blocks laid out around the central five-storey building.

A number of Eiffage group divisions and subsidiaries will work on the Lidl project, including Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, which will be responsible for all electrical and HVAC systems, and Goyer, which will insall the facades. The joint development zone is managed by Eiffage Aménagement.

Construction work on the project is expected to start in December this year.
