Bobcat’s new TL43.80HF can lift 4.3 tonnes to a height of 8m

Bobcat has added two new rigid frame telehandlers to its range – the 8 m TL43.80HF and the 7 m TL30.70.

The new machines – which boast maximum lifting capacities of between 2.6 and 4.3 tonnes, with heights from 6 to 18 m – are designed for use in construction, as well as rental, recycling, waste and general industry.

At 4.3 tonnes, the compact TL43.80HF has the greatest lifting capacity in the Bobcat range. The company says it also boasts enhanced stability, with a box welded frame, low load centre, long wheel base and large rear counterweight.

This, says Bobcat, has allowed it to reduce the machine’s overall dimensions; it is 2.30 m wide and less than 5 m in length.

Along with its small footprint, the TL43.80HF has enhanced manoeuvrability, with a turning radius of just 3.71 m.

The TL30.70 lifts up to 3 tonnes to a maximum height of 7m, but offers a full 4 m of reach with a load of more than 1 tonne. The telehandler is designed with pick and go applications on housing and commercial property sites in mind, and also boasts improved manoeuvrability.

The Bobcat D34 engine has been developed and manufactured for use in the company’s new generation Stage IV rigid frame telehandlers, aimed at the highly regulated markets within EMEA. This, says Bobcat, has resulted in optimised performance throughout the range.

The compact D34 engine, combined with a styled low profile engine hood has improved visibility on the engine side – an important facet for material handling applications. The D34 engine is available in three different sizes – 75, 100 and 130 HP.
